Swansea city centre #loyalty card proving popular

In Loyalty & CRM by Simon Crompton-Reid

loyalty A new loyalty card scheme in Swansea city centre has already attracted over 3,600 people since its launch on 5 March. The card entitles shoppers to discounts in various shops, restaurants and other businesses around the city centre. It is only redeemable in person in one of the participating businesses.

The council's city centre management offices have been processing applications and council officials are pleased with the high level of interest. The new scheme highlights the advantages of loyalty card schemes – offering shoppers a wide variety of discounts and incentives, as well as boosting city centre trading. Given current economic conditions and the lure of online and out-of-town shopping, the scheme will give a much-needed boost to city centre traders.
