Facebook has introduced a new health and wellness section to its timeline, where users can state whether they wish to donate their organs.

Speaking on Good Morning America, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he wanted to make it as simple as possible for people to take positive action that could potentially help the people who desperately need transplants. Users in the US and the UK will get linked to their local donor register through a link that comes up when they state where they're from.

According to a study from Brand Keys featured in Business Insider, Facebook was listed third in a list of the 20 brands with the most loyal customers. This is a great example of a brand utilising customer loyalty and doing something good with it.
