Whilst most infographics skim along the fluffy information the top three I’ve posted below remind us of the fundamentals of loyalty  marketing.  Engage your audience, customer service and quality is the key and make an emotional connection with your customers.  These simple rules should be the key factors when designing and implementing your loyalty campaign.  It's back to basics loyalty marketing, but lose sight of these key points and you risk losing your customers.

Do Likes mean Loyalty? Produced by Our Social Times, this infographic highlights the lack of customers actively engaged in the brands that they follow with only 1.3 fans being actively engaged. However the positives are that the key reason that a customer becomes a fan is genuinely because they are a loyal customer (49%) whilst 46% are looking for rewards and incentives.  Key take points are:  Be Relevant, lean about your fans and post content they want; Be Frequent, but not too frequent, spam posting is a number 1 turn off for a fan;  Be Creative, fans benefit from exclusive content, polls, quizzes, sweepstakes and prize draw, and they are more likely to share something fun!  To see the full graphic click here

What drives customer loyalty?  Customer Service in the cloud produced an infographic and highlighted the 20% of customers believe that Apple is a brand they could not live without.  Other top runners are Amazon, Google, Coca-Cola, Microsoft Target and Starbucks.  What is really good to see is that only 50% of buyers are swayed by price whilst quality of product scores 88% and good customer service scores 72%.  This means if your a good honest business in touch with their customers need that there is still room for independent businesses to make their stamp in the consumer market.  To see the full graphic click here

What is Customer Loyalty? The interesting aspects of this infographic is decision making statistics.  "decision making is 30% rational and 70% emotional."
