Pinkberry launching new mobile app and loyalty program the pinkcard so they can maximize customer loyalty and engagement, great rewards and ease of use on iPhone and Android

 

Frozen Yogurt has become a hot trend in a short time.  With so many frozen yogurt stores popping up everywhere Pinkberry had to find a way to make their existing customers loyal and attract new customers to be loyal.  That is where the Pinkcard comes in!

Pinkberry launched the Pinkcard, its first mobile app and loyalty program, last week – available for the iPhone and Android.  I recently downloaded it on my new iPhone but I have never been to Pinkberry before.  This loyalty program is great for attracting new customers because they offer you a free small frozen yogurt with toppings just for registering for the loyalty card.  Then after every 10th purchase you receive a free small yogurt!

This program reminds me of Starbuck's loyalty card because of the free birthday gift, numerous rewards, and ease of use.  One thing I love about the loyalty program is the flavor finder!  I put in my favorite Pinkberry frozen yogurt flavors and they notify me when they are available!  It is a free, fun, and easy to use loyalty card that I am able to carry on my phone. 

Yes it gets even better, Pinkberry also allows you to load up money on your account and pay using your phone!  You do not have to bring cash or a card, all you need is your phone!  You can load the amount you want and even make sure it reloads the card when you reach a certain amount.   It is an easy way to pay for your favorite frozen yogurt.  You can also use the app to buy a gift card for someone!  You just enter the amount, enter the person you want to give the gift card to, pay for it, and send it! 

I think the big draw for new customers will be the free small frozen yogurt you receive once you register for the card.  The big draw for their returning customers will probably be the flavor finder.  People love their Pinkberry flavors and now this is an easy way to know when your favorite flavor is back.
