In this document, Steve Silverstone, Executive Vice President Marketing for Boston Pizza International Inc., shares his personal thoughts on this matter.
He goes on to talk about some of the stereotypes that exist about data and analytics professionals and the misconceptions that data and analytics professionals have about marketing executives.
One interesting fact that Steve shared with me about him is that he started his career in restaurants working at McDonald's when he was 15 years old until the age of 21. He said that the experience was so good that he remains a loyal customer to this day.
