1. Keep it Short


Nobody likes it when people waffle on, so why should your hashtag?

Make sure you keep it short and sweet, meaning that not only your fans/consumers can remember it better, but newcomers aren’t put off by a garishly long tag stating everything.

This is far easier to do on Twitter where character limit keeps things short, but on Facebook the skies the limit. Don’t be tempted to do it.
