Like2Buy. Where Instagram and Online Shopping Collide.

Dear bank account, please forgive me.

“Oh, I’m obsessed, I have to have that.” Do you know that feeling when you see a must-have item on your favorite retailer’s Instagram? Do you know that feeling where you are too lazy/unable to find that item on the actual website. Yeah, that sucks. Yesterday I discovered a life changing (and bank account draining) solution to that very problem. It’s called Like2Buy and it is amazing.

Curalate, “the world’s leading marketing and analytics suite for the visual web” has partnered up with Target and Nordstrom (#SeattlePride) to make all my instadreams come true. Usually when I’m scrolling through Instagram and come across a product I need love, let’s say the new NARS Audacious Lipstick collection, I double click the image to like it. With Like2Buy, I can get from that image directly to the purchasing page for that item on the Nordstrom website.

I’m in trouble.

From the Nordstrom Like2Buy Page, I can view the photos from the Nordstrom Instagram that are set up for Like2Buy, but I can also view the images I’ve liked from my Instagram independently and buy those items. Can you say brilliant?

For all you online shoppers out there, I can’t decide whether to say “you’re welcome,” or “I’m so sorry!” Either way, I’m sure you’re already on Instagram liking and buying stuff. Carry on.
