Macy’s leads the way in mobile commerce-
Macy’s has been named the Mobile Retailer of 2014, receiving the most acclaimed award for mobile commerce and retail. Though Macy’s bricks-and-mortar retail strategies has been a leading reason as to why they are a top retailer, after seeing a decline in foot traffic, the company revamped their strategy in 2013 and introduced the M.O.M. strategy:
Macy Localization, Omnichannel Integration & Magic selling.
By taking this strategy a step further in 2014 and embracing the omnichannel challenge, (as seen in our Holiday Challenge eBook), Macy’s was able to take advantage of beacons, mobile payments and include event-driven mobile commerce – it’s no wonder they were named this past years Top Mobile Retailer.
By continuously bringing convenience and excitement to the shopping experience, Macy’s has been able to create a retail dynamic that dominates the retail world. Their aggressive focus on investing in a strong omnichannel foundation and incorporating mobile commerce has led them to redefine the customer experience.
