Results of 2015 shopping season are in: Desktop and mobile eCommerce still on the rise

Despite yesterday’s highlight on 75% of the world population being out of the running for ecommerce conversion, growth in the online shopping sector is showing now signs of slowing. 2015 shopping figures are in, and they total US$ 56.4 billion dollars, 6% up from 2014’s shopping season. Mobile commerce is also showing no signs of slowing, just short of US$ 70 billion by preliminary estimates. A 13% increase.
As those 75% of potential customers continue to gain access to tech and resources to become viable customers, and as web buying continues to edge brick and mortar, this just goes to prove that your online and mobile presence is key if you are serious about the future of your business.
